Discover the five habits of people who are passionate for heaven. We’ve been learning that heaven is a real place, and that we can live with the confidence that we’ll spend eternity with Jesus. This week, Joe Stowell wraps up his “All Things New” series with a look at what the Bible says our passion for heaven should look like. It’s a promise you can cherish while you experience each day as though it is your last day on earth. You’ll live with the confidence that heaven has a grip on your heart when you embrace these essential habits in your life.

Are you amazed by the thought of your future in heaven? When you’re “wowed” by the future, it makes a dramatic difference in your life in the present. Last week, Joe Stowell shared 12 descriptions of heaven found in Revelation. This week, he shares Scripture’s final description of heaven—one that reveals our identity in Christ as “New City People.” Joe explains why the Bible’s emphasis is not on the place but on the Person we will spend eternity with. It is the promise that Jesus is coming to take us to His home that should fill us with passion and excitement for heaven. Yet on the road toward heaven we often fall for Satan’s detour signs, and our passion to be with Jesus comes under attack. You’ll be reminded that despite life’s circumstances, you can put your trust and hope in Jesus, because He knows the way to heaven.

Discover 12 descriptions of heaven that offer you the key to confidence, hope, and assurance on earth. In this final message in the “All Things New” series, Joe Stowell turns to Revelation, where Scripture paints a vibrant picture of a heaven that is extravagant in its abundant beauty. Joe reminds you that the promise of heaven gives us hope on this earth, because we live with the confidence that no matter how bad life gets here, the best is yet to come. As you come to better understand the place God has prepared for you, you’ll be encouraged to keep heaven on your mind daily.

We live in a phenomenally broken world. And a natural response is for our hearts to cry out “God, can’t You somehow fix this for us?” In this message from the continuing series All Things New, Joe Stowell reveals that God is indeed in the process of fixing this for us. It began when Jesus came to earth in human form, and continues today as God transforms each of us as “New Creation People” in Christ. But that doesn’t mean the choices are easy. Joe describes the dangers we face in this world, and reminds us that every time we act like a new creation person, we bring a little bit of heaven to earth. It’s more than a promise for the future—it’s a daily reality we can all experience.

“Who am I?” We’ve all asked ourselves this question at some point in our lives. As we dive back into our messages from the “All Things New” series, Joe Stowell makes the key point that Jesus Christ paid a great price so you can know who you really are. As Joe describes it, you were born to be an “NCP”—a New Creation Person. To give you a full perspective on what this means in your life, Joe takes you back in time to the creation and the moment when Adam and Eve fell prey to temptation and brokenness entered the world. As you discover how to put into practice the values of being a New Creation Person, you’ll find that only Christ offers us hope and healing from the corruption in the world around us.

Discover the five habits of effective listeners to the voice of God. Last week, Joe Stowell explained the importance of hearing God’s warnings to us in the face of danger. Today we take a closer look at Jesus’ story of the shepherd and his flock in John 10. Just as the sheep in Jesus’ illustration would only listen to their true shepherd, we also must make sure we are tuned exclusively to the voice of our Shepherd. You’ll find yourself facing each day with more confidence and peace as you trust the voice of Jesus to guide you through life’s twists and turns.

When was the last time you heard the voice of God? Most of us spend so much time talking to God, we don’t take the time to listen! This week Joe Stowell begins a new series titled Hearing God’s Voice by taking a look at the first of five habits of effective listeners. Joe points out that as followers of Christ we’ve been given the equipment we need to hear God speak. But the equipment can’t work properly if we allow Satan’s noise to silence the voice of God. This is illustrated in Jesus’ story of the shepherd and his flock in John 10. As you strive to develop these essential listening skills, you’ll find yourself more in tune with God’s leading in your life.

Betrayal is a central element of the Easter story. As we prepare our hearts this week for the celebration of Easter, we join Joe Stowell in examining the events in John 13 leading up to Christ’s death on the cross. Joe explains that Judas’ betrayal was rooted in his unwillingness to give up earthly comforts and personal gain for the reward of eternity with Jesus. The scary reality is that a little piece of Judas lurks deep inside all of us. Joe challenges us to confront the areas of our lives that leave us vulnerable to betraying Christ for the sake of personal gain. As we realize how easy it would be for any of us to behave like Judas, we can be thankful that Jesus in His compassion was still willing to suffer and die for our sin.

“Love one another.” It’s a simple concept—but you know just how difficult it can be to put into practice! Over the past few weeks we’ve been examining this new command Jesus gave His followers during His final hours with them on earth. As Joe Stowell wraps up this four-part message on “The New Community,” he reminds you that it’s through our love for one another that all men and women will know we are disciples of Jesus Christ. As you listen this week, you’ll gain insight into practical ways you can put this key teaching from John 13 into action. It’s an important message of growing and participating in the living body of Christ as we build the new community of faith, one act of love at a time.

Unwrap what it means to show God’s love to others—even those who don’t seem to deserve it. As Joe Stowell points out in this week’s message, it’s those unlovable people who are usually most in need of experiencing love from the body of Christ. To understand just what it takes to put this into practice, you’ll take a look at Jesus’ final hours with His followers. It was during this Last Supper that He gave us the ultimate example of how we should love others—by serving. You’ll definitely want to tune in and listen to this powerful teaching on how we can join in the “New Community” that Christ gave His life to establish.
